Snow Day Nov. 2010

Sunday, the snow started. It continued with full force all yesterday. Daycare decided to close early so I had to have a sub for the afternoon. We safely got home within an hour's drive which was great for the conditions. Rob got off at 1:45 and got home in an 1 hour 15 minutes. Not too bad. Then we snuggled as we watched the coverage of how bad the roads got, and it got really bad. We hoped that school would be canceled. Rob found out early that his was, then I finally found out at 9pm that today would be a SNOW DAY! Yeah!

Of course, you have to take advantage of a snow day. We have about 6 inches of snow and had fun playing.

Can't make a snowman with this type of snow but you can do a snow angel!

and play with Toy Story Legos.

Peter decided to go out again without his sister. She was getting mad at him throwing snow. So, we headed out.

Now it is nap time and soon we will be watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Then to listen to find out if there is school tomorrow, especially since Rob's school has no power.
