Off to the Mountains

What is a yurt? A yurt is a building framed by wood and has canvas wrapped around it. They are wonderful to stay in and make camping so much simpler. You don't need the tent and they have the beds for you. This is inside of the yurt:

It includes a bunk bed, Peter called it a bumpy bed, and a futon. Peter slept on the top bunk and Carlie slept on the futon.

It even has a skylight. Good and bad with little ones.

Our final morning at Beverly Beach, we headed out to play in the sand. Plus, this was the best weather we had had all trip.

Can you see Yaquina Head Lighthouse?

I love the Oregon Coast.

The kids were not willing to play in the surf but wanted to play in the creek that lead to the ocean. At least they were willing to play in the water.

We were very sad to leave Beverly Beach but were excited to go Hatfield.

Here are some videos of the ocotpus.

We were very sad to leave the coast. We had such a great trip out there. At least we live near a coast, even if it is not truly the ocean but it is salt water.
