MLK Jr. Snow/Ice Storm

Wednesday when we got a ton of snow

We had a yummy warm breakfast.  Ready to go outside and play.

Unforntately it became ugly fast with freezing rain so we did not get to play outside.
Mr. Potato Head's cabin fever made him explode.

Day 18 - ice encased

Thursday, we woke up to a full blown ice storm.  We had lost power the night before for 2 hours and then lost power for 4 hours this morning.

We took our cooler outside last night with last night's leftovers.  The cooler is now frozen shut.

I sure hope this freezing rain goes away soon.  Snow is fine but this stuff is just scary.
