Sunday when it was still nice.
Day 17 - Snuggly reading time
Wednesday when we got a ton of snow
We got between 5-6 inches.
We had a yummy warm breakfast. Ready to go outside and play.
Unforntately it became ugly fast with freezing rain so we did not get to play outside.
Mr. Potato Head's cabin fever made him explode.
I made a special snack.
Day 18 - Ice Encased
Thursday, we woke up to a full blown ice storm. We had lost power the night before for 2 hours and then lost power for 4 hours this morning.
This is our grass encased in ice.
This tree is not looking good. I sure hope it does not take down the fence.
We took our cooler outside last night with last night's leftovers. The cooler is now frozen shut.

I sure hope this freezing rain goes away soon. Snow is fine but this stuff is just scary.
