Today was the last the last day of school. Yes, I realize that it was really late this year due to the strike and ice storm, but the day finally came. It is still very surreal to me but the kids were excited.
Daddy picked Peter up from school at his half day time. He even got a picture of Peter with his teacher (to be uploaded later). Then they got Carlie. As they were heading home Peter got sad because the school year is over.
I was working in my classroom for a bit and then headed home. We then headed back to Montessori for the end of the year performance (video is currently uploading). This year was 50's theme.

Carlie did well except for her hand in her mouth or in her hair for the
majority but she did sing this year. That is an improvement.
Tonight's dessert was root beer floats and ice cream sundaes with cake. My kids had just the root beer and they loved it.
This year has really flown by. Peter is very excited that he is going to be a first grader. Carlie gets to be a Tiger, meaning no nap. Now, it's time for summer and lots of family adventures!
