The next morning, we decided to go to Devil's Punchbowl. I never knew it was so close to Beverly Beach.
When we got there, some people told us to look for the Gray Whale that were hanging out.
Look for the spray.
Carlie waved back too!
All together, we spotted 4-5 whale.
Then we headed off to Depoe Bay to find out what kind of whale we had just seen.
Next, before lunch, we headed out to the beach for some fun. It had been cool but it was starting to warm up. We were very surprised when we go to the beach and found no breeze and it was warm.
Carlie decided to run into the waves and a wave sat her right down on her bottom. After that, she hung on to me whenever she was in the waves.
Run!
And then she tripped and got all sandy.
Brother tried for another picture of the two of them.
Yes, the water was warm. This is the first time that I have ever been willing to put my feet into the water in Oregon. It felt like Newport Beach water at Christmas.
Peter enjoyed feeling the water suck him into the sand.
The coast there is where Devil's Punchbowl is.
Headed back for some lunch.
Sandy bottom.
After lunch (yeah for Women's Olympic Volleyball) and a nap, we headed to Lincoln City. This glass studio is where we went on our honeymoon.
The kids enjoyed watching glass be blown.
Carlie ate everything.
On the way back to Beverly Beach, we made a few stops for the beauty of the coast.
When we got back, we made a campfire.
Peter and I headed out for sunset but we a moment too late.
Peter's picture of me.
