Summer is here. We are enjoying a busy summer full of rain (most days so far) and running around. Of course, the best part of summer is all of the great food. Rob has more time to cook and we have better ingredients because of our share at the farm.

That is Rob's hand, not the kids. Just a reference point. By the way, I thought I did not like peas until Rob and the kids finally talked me into trying these. They are so amazingly delicious!!

Have you ever had purple potatoes?

We tried teriyaki meatballs with onions, bell peppers, and pineapple. All of us loved it. Carlie went grocery shopping with Rob last week and pointed out the skewers and said that she wanted some of that.

We were playing outside one (shockingly) sunny day. Peter ran into the garage and came back with his baseball setup.

He had not used it yet so it took a bit to figure out how to hit the ball.

But, as you can tell, he got the SWING of it.

Carlie sometimes just walks around with her helmet. It would come in handy in the house because she keeps hitting her head on the counter.

Peter got his first bike! We had the bike shop take off the training wheels and the pedals. His physical therapist wants him practicing balancing and then going towards riding it.

He likes to walk it though.

Carlie made this for daddy for Father's Day!

Our budding photographer. Peter keeps giving her lessons when he is not screaming at her to give back his camera.

I just had to photograph his picture. He is improving so much.

Story time for the "baby".

Updates about life. Carlie is fully potty trained during the day. Peter is going to start physical therapy. We had to put speech and occupational therapies on hold though because we are running out of sessions that our insurance will cover. Rob is doing summer school while I stay home with the kids. Carlie is doing swimming and Peter is doing gymnastics. Otherwise life is good and busy...

and rather humorous!
