Rob and I have a history with Cannon Beach and the surrounding area. Within a few days of meeting each other, we were at Hug Point, just south of Cannon Beach, on an FYS trip. We spent many trips going out to Cannon Beach with friend during our college years. For our honeymoon, we ended it with a few nights in Cannon Beach. We have not been back since the Mid-Winter Break after that. We love Cannon Beach but it sure is a distance from where we live. While visiting family in Oregon, we have decided to spend a few nights at the coast. The first night being in Cannon Beach. On our way here, we stopped by Pacific and shared our love of the University with Carlie and Peter. Then we headed out to the beach. After hunting down parking, which took forever, we went for a long walk to downtown and shopped for a bit.

Then headed back to check in at our hotel, Inn at Cannon Beach. We hung out for a bit and then headed to Mo's for dinner.

Peter and Carlie had Tuna Fish Sliders. They loved them.

As you can tell from Peter's face.
Then we headed to the beach. First we did a family portrait.

I did clone all of the extra people out of the picture (I love Lightroom!)

Then tried Carlie but didn't get very far.

So I just shot all of the fun!

As you can tell, they loved the sand. Carlie realized that she does not like the taste of sand though.
